Summary: “The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari” tells the story of Julian Mantle, a successful lawyer who has everything he could ever want, yet is still unfulfilled and unhappy. After a heart attack, he embarks on a journey to discover the true meaning of life and finds guidance from a wise old monk. Through the monk’s teachings, Julian learns about the power of simplicity, mindfulness, and self-discipline, and how to live a fulfilling and meaningful life. Along the way, he learns to let go of his material possessions and societal pressures, and embraces a more spiritual and peaceful existence. This powerful and inspiring story reminds us that true happiness and success come from living a life of purpose and making a positive impact on the world.

Recommendation: Medium – while the book has some life lessons to offer most of this is quite basic (at least in my view) without the “aha” effect of other books I have read. Very similar style to Robin Sharma´s “The Saint, the Surfer and the CEO” which I have also reviewed – yet “The Saint…” is a better and more valuable read.
Level: Beginner – easy read around topics like meaning of life, happiness, and mindfulness packaged in a easy to read story.
Written by Robin Sharma, the book is divided into several chapters that each explore a different aspect of the human experience and offer valuable insights and wisdom for living a fulfilling and meaningful life:
